The Swan Inn Crowned Best Pub in Surrey and Sets Its Sights On National Title

The Swan Inn at Chiddingfold has been named as the Best Pub in Surrey in the National Pub & Bar Awards 2016.

Serving superb food and quality drinks with 11 boutique en-suite rooms in the heart of the Surrey countryside, The Swan Inn, part of the Upham Pub Company, faced fierce competition against a number of well-established pubs in the county to be crowned as the best in the area.

The Swan Inn will now look to extend its current accolades – also boasting four AA Stars and two AA Rosette Awards for Culinary Excellence - as it seeks to secure the coveted titles of South East of England’s Pub & Bar of the Year and the National Pub & Bar of the Year against almost 100 other venues at the awards ceremony on 24 May. The Pub & Bar Awards seek to reward outstanding operators from across the UK, recognising service, product range, aesthetic design and entertainment available to provide the ultimate hospitality experience. Sinead Leach, general manager of The Swan Inn, said; “We are delighted to be named as the best pub in Surrey in the National Pub & Bar Awards, despite stiff competition from a number of incredible inns in our county, and look forward to attending the awards ceremony to compete for the regional and national titles.
