This order shall come into operation on 1st December 2017 for a period of 6 months. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. This Order is required to enable APLANT LUX working on behalf of BT to gain access to cabling structures in the lengths described in parts a) and b) of the schedule to this notice.
a) The partial length of Killing Hurst Lane (D157/D158) from its junction with West End Lane to its junction with Petworth Road (A283) (Cripplecrutch Hill). Works are anticipated to be carried out from the 1st December for five days between the hours of 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency vehicles at all times. Access will be maintained at all times for residences and businesses on the affected length of Killinghurst Lane (D157/D158). All other vehicular traffic, H.G.V.s and buses will be diverted via Killinghurst Lane, Petworth Road (A283) (Cripplecrutch Hill), Rodgate Lane, Petworth Road (B2131) and Killinghurst Lane or this route in reverse order.
b) The partial length of Killinghurst Lane (D157) from its junction with Petworth Road (B2131) to its junction with West End Lane. Works are anticipated to be carried out from the 6th December 2017 for two days, between the hours of 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs. Access will be maintained at all times for residences, emergency services and businesses on the affected length of Killinghurst Lane (D157). All other vehicular traffic, H.G.V.s and buses will be diverted via Killinghurst Lane, Petworth Road (A283) (Cripplecrutch Hill), Rodgate Lane, Petworth Road (B2131) and Killinghurst Lane or this route in reverse order.
